Welcome, stranger, to the first and only craft brewery in Mykonos.
We have been brewing and bottling non-stop since May 2017 and our beers can be found all around the island and well beyond.
We started off as two homebrewers striving to make their hobby into a living, but we've come to be so much more!
We studied, explored, brewed and ultimately learned what craft beer is. At least we know what craft beer is for us.
Today, we are a team of five local Mykonians that strive to modernize artisanal produce in the traditional Cycladic way of living.
As we are geeks by nature, when we aren’t geeking out about beer, we find other interests to sustain us in the easy-going, -mostly! - uneventful island life.
We are the hosts of our taproom, serious food geeks, part time dungeon explorers and board-game strategists, jacks of all trades and all these while maintaining exceptional music tastes.
Greek artisan culture dictates products to be named after their place of birth.
It was only natural to call our beers Mikònu, which in Greek means simply “of Mykonos”.
We love what we do, and always make great effort to share our passion with anyone who visits our brewery, drinks our beer, or shares our table.
So, welcome again, friend, to Mykonos Brewing Company.
Our brewery is situated just outside Mykonos town, and a short 10-minute drive from the airport.
Our operation is underground, in an industrial space that used to be the old bowling alley (of which we sadly did not manage to keep a lane).
Our stainless tanks and brewhouse were made to order in Greece, tailored to our needs, and our in-house desalination plant produces fresh, potable water, for both production and consumption.
Our malt-room infuses the brewery with Greek and Belgian malt aromas, while the squeaky sound of one of us constantly cleaning one thing or another completes the multisensory experience of what it means to be a brewer.
Visible from our taproom, the brewery is a compact factory that utilizes a mixture of modern brewing methods, DIY constructions, and innovative and experimental techniques which aim to combat the difficulties inherent in brewing on a Greek island.

Our Taproom has moved — and we can't wait to see you there.
As a first bold step toward something much bigger, we've moved the Mikònu Taproom and all its services inside Mathios Taverna, at Tourlos / New Port of Mykonos. For this transitional year, the two have become one — and we've named it Mikònu Beer Taverna.
It's easier to find, easier to reach, and full of good things: Mikònu beers on tap, rare bottled beers from our merch shop, service from both our crew and the Mathios team, a full menu if you're hungry, and beautiful Aegean sea views while you drink.
Soon, the whole brewery will move here too. For now, 2026 is our transition year — a short, rare chapter in the life of the brewery, and we're genuinely happy to have you along for it.
